Sharon L. Miller

Sharon L. Miller, age 64, of Waterville, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.Sharon was born on January 26, 1954, at Tyler, Texas, to Carl C. and Bessie (Sellstrom) Johnson. She married Bruce Miller on September 18, 1971 at San Juan, Texas. They had two children Richard and Shelly.She was the most loving and caring person anyone would ever know. She was the type of person who’d put everyone else first, making sure they had whatever they needed or were cared for before she focused on herself. Family meant everything to her, even though she was away from them, her heart was with them and it always will be.She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Blue Rapids.Survivors include her husband Bruce of Waterville, son Richard (Mandy) Miller of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, a daughter Shelli Miller of Waterville, a granddaughter, a brother Dennis Johnson of Mission, Texas, three sisters; Gail Jones of McAllen, Texas, Janis Wallace of Lampasas, Texas and Teri Taylor of College Station, Texas.Preceding in death were her parents.Cremation is planned with a private inurnment at a later date.Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and may be sent in care of Terry-Christie Funeral Home at PO Box 61, Waterville, Kansas 66548.
