Brenda Dawn (Allen) Morgan, age 49 of Riley, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan.
She was born on September 15, 1964 in Chula Vista, California, the daughter of Jon Howard Allen and Marcia E. (Graham) Maxwell.
On July 23, 2011 she was married to Chris Morgan. He survives of the home.
Brenda was a custodian for the Riley County School District. Her greatest achievements were her children, Ryan, Shy and Marco and felt extremely blessed to have a husband like Chris. She loved animals and working in the yard, especially with her flowers. She adored the winter snow and the Christmas season.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Ryan Allen, Marco Flores and Shy Flores; her mother, Marcia Maxwell; her father, Jon Allen and wife Alice; six brothers, Charles Allen, Johnny Graham, Shannon Graham, James Graham, Daniel Allen and Shane Allen and two sisters, Jayme Thomas and Tina Flores.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of her life from 7-8:00 P.M. Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Alert Covenant Church, north of Leonardville, with Pastors Dwight Diller and David VanBebber officiating. Burial will follow in the Leonardville Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Brenda Allen Morgan Memorial Fund. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, Kansas.
