Bryan Kelso

Bryan D. Kelso, age 68, passed away at Community Memorial Health Care in Marysville on Monday, February 10, 2025. His time prior to passing away was spent surrounded by his loving family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Bryan was born December 4, 1956, in Pekin, Illinois, to Carl H. and Mable H. (Wilkinson) Kelso. He moved to Waterville in 2004 from Moreno Valley, California when he lived for a number of years. Bryan worked as a carpenter for many years.

Bryan, also known as “Red”, was many things to many people, but above all he was a family man. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and siblings. He would have done anything for his family, friends, or even a stranger. If you were to ask anyone, they would tell you he was the kindest and goofiest man. When he wasn’t spending his time hanging out with his family or helping others, he was with his dog and best friend, Sugar.

Survivor include his son Brian Kelso, his daughters Jennifer Beard and Heather (Steven) Hager-Moctezuma, his brother Michael Kelso, his sisters: Marlene (Bill) Kelso, Marnie (Ronnie) Winslow and Kathy Metcalf, his grandchildren: Christopher Kelso, Cailee Kelso, Jason Wilson, Megan Wilson, Vanessa Moctezuma, Kaylynn Hager-Moctezuma, Lennex Moctezuma and three great grandchildren.

Preceding Bryan in death were his parents, Carl and Mable, his wife Linda, and two sisters Ardie and Carla.

Cremation is planned with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
