Danny LaVerne Christensen

Danny LaVerne Christensen, age 53 of Leonardville, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at his home. He was born on January 13, 1963 in Frankfurt, Germany, the son of Jimmie LaVerne and Joyce Marie (Loper) Christensen Danny was a truck driver for United Moving Company for over 20 years. He enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and hunting. He is survived by his father, Jimmie Christensen of Leonardville; four children, Tony LaVerne Christensen, Adam Christensen and Samantha Christensen all of Florida and Chase Christensen of Leonardville; one sister, Deana Currey and husband Don of Riley, one niece, Jamie Christensen of Leonardville, one nephew, Allen Strauss of Riley and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Christensen on January 30, 2015. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating. A memorial has been established for the Huntington Disease Hereditary Neurological Disease Center. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley.
