Golda Louise Wilson, age 94 of Manhattan, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Stoneybrook Retirment Community.
She was born on March 13, 1921 in Manhattan, the daughter of James and Anna (Vogelsang) Fitzpatrick. She graduated from Randolph High School in 1938.
On March 13, 1941 in Waterville, she was married to Loren T. Wilson. He preceded her in death in 2000.
Golda and Loren owned Wilson’s Cafe in Leonardville before moving to Manhattan where they owned and operated several laundromats.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Jane Siebert of Wamego, Kansas; two sons, Jim Wilson and wife Sandy of Merriam, Kansas and Steve Wilson and wife Lyn of Fairway, Kansas; six grandchildren, Paula Humphries, Derek Siebert, Troy Wilson, Katrina McKinnis, Alex Wilson and Amy Wilson; six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley with Rev. Rick Hernandez officiating. Respect calls may be made anytime Tuesday. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Randolph Fancy Creek Cemetery, north of Randolph.
A memorial has been established for the Stoneybrook Retirement Community. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
