Imogene Wolfe

Imogene Wolfe, age 84, formerly of Riley, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Overland Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 8, 1931 in Bremen, Kansas, the daughter of Francis W. and Grace I. (Vogler) Stettnisch. On June 5, 1949, she was married to Wayne L. Davis in Barnes. He preceded her in death in 1985. She later married Fred P. Wolfe in 1989. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was a lab technician at Kansas State University. She is survived by one son, Ron Davis of Ellsworth; one daughter, Jeannie Davis of Overland Park; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Arlene Thurlow and Sue Bryson and one brother, Wilbur Stettnisch. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Sedalia Community Church with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Tuesday. The family invites friends to a luncheon starting at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Sedalia Community Church. Burial will be in the Riley Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Johnson Cancer Research Center at KSU. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley.
