Iowana Mae Fellers, age 76 of Clay Center, Kansas, died Monday, November 17, 2014 at Medicalodge of Clay Center.
She was born on October 5, 1938 in Hayworth, Oklahoma, the daughter of Martin L. and Zillah B.(Ross) Bolt.
She was married to Russell Fellers on October 27, 1982 at Abilene, Kansas. He survives of the home.
Iowana worked as a bookkeeper for Leiszler Oil Company and also worked for the Clay County Health Department. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Clay Center Piotique Quilters Guild and Morganville Friendship Quilters Group.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Terri Rodriguez of Inman, Lori Peryer of Wichita, Julie Gray of Wichita and Huda (Carie) Abdullah of Wichita; two step sons, Ray Fellers of Grove, Oklahoma and Joel Fellers of Anderson, Missouri; three sisters, Lou Harris of Topeka, Martina Poole of Mesquite, Nevada, Rossie Bea McCortney of Westminster, California; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Vivian Gayle Bolt and one brother, Rolf Bolt.
Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 24, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center with Pastor Scott Lingle officiating.
Memorials have been established for the First Presbyterian Church, Meadowlark Hospice and Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral in Riley, Kansas.
