Josephine Carol (Parry) Wolf, age 68 of Enterprise, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Abilene.
She was born on January 11, 1949 in Clay Center, the daughter of Albert and Louise H. (Van Hove) Parry.
She was a social worker by trade with a tender heart for children and families in need who worked tirelessly to develop support and find positive outcomes. She enjoyed painting and studied foreign language including Spanish, Aztec, and German. She loved traveling, especially in Mexico to study Spanish culture and arts. She was an animal lover with a kind heart for many strays that needed a temporary home and a loving kind person who saw the best in everyone and always lent a listening ear or shoulder to cry on. A deeply spiritual person always seeing the light in all people she was able to touch throughout life and was a great mother who loved her two boys with all her being.
She is survived by her son, Adam Forshee and wife Christina of Decatur, Georgia; her sister, Malynda Rahm; her granddaughter Isla Forshee and many cousins and aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Shane Forshee; one daughter, Lindy Forshee and an uncle, John Van Hove.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center.
Memorials may be made to any local humane society or shelter in her name. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley.
