Marvin Shepard

Marvin Dale Shepard, age 70 of Miltonvale, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Clay County Medical Center.

He was born on May 25, 1954, in Wichita, the son of Billy and Dora (Mastellar) Shepard.

Marvin worked in highway construction as a concrete finisher, helped with snow removal for the City of Clay Center and many other endeavors.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He was a true friend to many and would do anything for his friends.

He is survived by his mother, Dora Shepard; one son, Jessie Webb (Jessica) of Clay Center; one daughter, Stacie Keeler (Scott) of Clay Center; two sisters, Ava Brown of Miltonvale and Myra Jamison (Larry) of Miltonvale; one brother, Bill Shepard (Ya) of San Diego, California; eight grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Shepard; one sister, Rita Shepard; one brother, Harvey Shepard, and one granddaughter, Khya Webb.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024 in the Tootleville Park in Miltonvale.  Meat and drinks will be provided and guests are asked to bring a side dish and stories to share.

The Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
