Michael William Rowley, age 63 of St. George, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan.
He was born on November 13, 1951 in Manhattan, the son of Joseph Jo and Madeline Florine (Debus) Rowley.
He was a construction superintendent for BHS Construction and enjoyed prospecting for gold, fishing, hunting, traveling to Isla Mujeres, an island in Mexico and spending time with his dear friends.
He is survived by his companion, Patti Spani of St. George; three children, Natasha Rowley Phipps of Colorado, Trisha Ann Rowley Brown of Manhattan and Michael Rowley and wife Faith of Texas; eight grandchildren, Coralynne, Maximus, Broderick, Trystin, Crysteen, Tyler, Beau and Ethan; one aunt, Mariam Buseman of Olathe; his special family, Scott Umscheid, Matt Umscheid, Brigett Umscheid, Kylie Umscheid, Aubrey, Molly, Zach and Konnor and his close friend, Pat Heptig.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe in 1984 and Madeline in 2015 and his brother Mark in 2007.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley. Cremation will follow after the visitation.
A memorial has been established for the KSU Johnson Cancer Research Center. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
