Rose Marie Linhardt, age 57 of Olsburg, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born on February 16, 1963 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Eugene C. and Irma M. (Fields) Straub.
On September 21, 1991, she married Samuel C. Linhardt. He survives of the home.
She was a wife, mother of fourteen children, Christian Foundation Builder and a dedicated member of the Alert Covenant Church. Rose enjoyed gardening, growing orchids, cross stitching and supporting the Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Ministry.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven sons, Brian Crawford of Manhattan, Joel F. Linhardt of Olathe, Zachary W. Linhardt of Manhattan, David S. Linhardt of Manhattan, Jonathan Clyde Eugene Linhardt of Randolph, Kenaniah L. Linhardt of Manhattan and Elijah S. Linhardt of Manhattan; seven daughters, Samantha Ann Acheson of Olathe, Rachel M. Linhardt of Columbia, Missouri, Elizabeth A. Hoffman of Wichita, Irma M. Mangiameli of Independence, Missouri, Kathryn J. Linhardt of Olsburg, Grace R. Linhardt of Olsburg and Rose Marie Linhardt of Olsburg; one brother, Dean Straub of Soldier and two sisters, Ann StraubMeier of Manhattan and Jean Harper and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Leah Linhardt.
A celebration of her life will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Alert Covenant Church with Pastor Dwight Diller officiating. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Olsburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Ministry. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
