Sadie R. Fraschilla

Sadie Rosaria Fraschilla, age 85 of Riley, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at her residence. She was born on November 7, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Nunzio and Jennie Cannizzaro. She was married to Guiseppe “Joe” Fraschilla on July 11, 1953 at St. Finbar Roman Catholic Church in Brooklyn, New York. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2012. Sadie was a homemaker and a devout Catholic. She watched EWTN, the Catholic television station religiously and loved her dog, Buster. She is survived by two daughters, Ann Marie Boryeskne and husband Don of Riley and Patricia Valenti and husband Jerry of Pennsylvania; one son, Kevin Fraschilla of New Jersey; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Manhattan with Fr. Don Zimmerman as Celebrant. Respect calls may be made anytime Monday at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley. The family will greet friends from 6:30 - 7:30 P.M. and a Rosary and Christian Wake Service will be held following the visitation Monday evening. Burial will be in the Riley Cemetery.
