Steven Edward Jordan Farnsworth, 32 of Riley, died Monday, August 4, 2014 as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born on January 12, 1982 at Petersburg, VA, the son of Steven Nelson and Nancy Carol (Stinnett) Farnsworth.
He worked for INDAM, Asplundh, TNT Enterprises and most recently was a welder for Titan Trailers. He was a 2000 graduate of Riley County High School and in the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, the beach and working on cars. He mostly loved hanging out with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Amber Farnsworth; four sons, Joseph Petty, Steven Matthew Farnsworth, Stanley Michael Farnsworth and Korbin James Farnsworth; his mother, Nancy King and husband John of Riley; his father, Steven Nelson Farnsworth and wife Ruth of Middletown, MD; two sisters, Kyna Dugan and husband Jonathan of Wamego and Kyla King of Riley; one step-sister, Joann Engestrom and partner Krista Kennedy of Middletown, MD; two grandmothers, Lena Rivers of Virginia and Mary Key of Riley; an uncle, Gene Stinnett of Virginia and numerous other relatives.
A gathering for a Celebration of Life service will be from 10 - 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Riley Cemetery with Rev. Bill Eisele officiating.
A memorial has been established for the Farnsworth Children’s Fund. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral in Riley.
