Steven E. Springer

Steven E. Springer, age 55 of Riley, Kansas, died Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the home of his mother in Randolph, Kansas. He was born on August 6, 1958, the son of Eldon and Alyce (Wohler) Springer. Steve had worked at Moorman’s Feed in Manhattan for several years and had been a welder working for several different welding shops. He is survived by his wife, Tamera Springer of Manhattan, Kansas; one son, Adam Springer and wife Darci of Riley, Kansas; one daughter LeighAnn Rohde and husband William of Waynoka, Oklahoma; his mother, Alyce Springer of Randolph, Kansas; two sisters, Patricia Booth and husband Steve, and Teri Springer both of Randolph, Kansas; three grandchildren and his ex-wife Annette Bullard, the mother of his children, of Wabaunsee, Kansas. A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, Kansas, with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating. A memorial has been established for an educational fund for Steven’s grandchildren, William Rohde Jr., PreslieAnn Rohde, and Gauge Springer.
