Twila Mae Ericson, age 87 of Manhattan, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Via Christi Hospital.
She was born on October 1, 1927, at Leonardville, the daughter of Laurin V. and Stella E. (Hageman) Wohler.
On June 12, 1949 at Randolph, she was married to Paul D. Ericson. He preceded her in death in 1990.
Twila was the vice president for Citizens State Bank of Randolph and Manhattan, then later, UMB Bank in Manhattan. She was a member of the Randolph United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was an avid K-State fan, no matter what sport and was a member of several organizations such as Pilot Club and Red Hat Society.
She is survived by one brother, Fred Wohler and wife Betty of Leonardville; one sister, Bernadine Anderson and husband Clayton “Bill” of Topeka; four nephews, Dennis and Rex Anderson and Larry and Jerry Ericson; two nieces, Kim Nelson and Sonja Berry and many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Kevin Wohler.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Randolph United Methodist Church with Pastor Sandy Ferguson officiating. Respect calls may be made anytime Sunday at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, where the family will receive friends from 6 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, north of Randolph.
A memorial has been established for the Randolph United Methodist Church. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley.
