Wendy Dawn Greeley, born September 27, 1970 in Staten Island, New York, passed away peacefully in her sleep and entered the Golden Gates of our Lord on November 18, 2019, in Riley, Kansas.

Wendy Dawn graduated from Brick Memorial High School in Brick, New Jersey, a small town that borders the Atlantic Ocean. While there, she excelled in soccer and gymnastics, as she had throughout her years.  She also had an overwhelming love for all animals with which she came in contact.

Wendy Dawn is survived by her family, her daughter, Madison Dawn of Brick, New Jersey; her mother, Sharon Hart and her husband Bill of Seneca, South Carolina; her father Bob Greeley and his wife Agnes of Bellvue, Colorado; her grandmother, Stella Greeley of Bellvue, Colorado; her brother Rob Greeley, his wife Kendra of Riley, Kansas and their children Kenny, his wife Savannah and daughter Rylynn Jo, Ariel and Bobby and her aunts Lillian Greeley of Cambridge, Massachusetts and Stella Mason and her husband Jack of Sarasota, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marge and Wendell Amon and two aunts, Barbara Delizia and Mary Greeley.

Her smile and bright personality will be missed by all who loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on December 7, 2019 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home with Pastor David VanBebber officiating.

In lieu of flowers, it would be Wendy’s wish for any donations in her name, to be sent to either the Riley County Humane Society or the Fort Riley Animal Shelter.  Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
